The ruins of Lietava Castle, between the Sulov Rocks (Súľovské Skaly) and the city of Žilina, Slovakia. The castle hill (635m) is just a couple of hundred metres tall so I turned it into a little challenge: we'd hiked across the hills for a few hours from near Rajecke Teplice and were ascending the castle hill at high noon as the mercury climbed to thirty some degrees Celsius.
