Thanks for your vote and comments,Tupopdan peaks is the real name of this beautiful peak, it is very near Passu village, upper Hunza, Northern Areas of Pakistan. Tupopdan means "mouthful of sun mountain " in local language. Due to its shape it is also familier in the mountaineers as Passu Cones, or Cathedral Peak. This peak was climbed in 1987, by British P.Cox, L.Griffin et M.Woolridge.Base Camp of this is very near to Karakoram Highway.

Amazing how the mountains shoot staight up from the valley floor. What a daunting piece of rock, great capture.

"Life is brought down to the basics: if you are warm, regular, healthy, not thirsty or hungry, then you are not on a mountain... Climbing at altitude is like hitting your head against a brick wall — it's great when you stop."   --Chris Darwin
