Nearing Thoreau Spring [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Nearing Thoreau Spring
Near the top of Abol Slide, almost to Thoreau Spring and the Tableland. The ridge seen in the forefront is the Hunt Trail ridge which the Appalachian Trail traverses on its last few miles. Behind the Hunt ridge is Doubletop Mountain, a unique peak with two summits connected by a small, shallow saddle.
