Descending steep gully on NE side of Charleston, NV
Descending from Charleston Peak on Jan 10, 2009. This gully was really too steep for trekking poles, as I learned in the next moment (stopped an initially uncontrolled fall by using a broken trekking pole, numerous bushes, and eventually by steering off onto a flattish area after 35 seconds).
