The north face of Lattenspitze (left) and Pfeiserspitzen (right) - seen from Stempeljochspitze - is ragged and full of fissures and spires. Descent from Pfeiserspitze is on the right ridge down to the first col and through the shadow chute down on the scree field, which has to be traversed to Stempeljoch.
