Red Box to Vetter - TOPO3

Route from Barley Flat down to the Upper Tujubga Canyon Road via the Alder Creek Trail and connection to the Vetter Mountain Southwest Ridge. We tried to cut short from the Alder Creek Trail east directly to the ridge but the thick chaparral-covered ridges seem impassable. We decided to take a fire road from the paved road to the start of the southwest ridge.
