| Upper Bighorn Sheep Canyon - Do I Really Have to Put My Wet Swimsuit Back on After Breakfast? | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] | |||||||||
Breakfast at Vallie Bridge Campground on a cold morning in early August It was really chilly when we got up the third morning; so chilly we grabbed fleece and long pants to wear to breakfast. Well, at least those without antifreeze for blood! But rafters know that eventually cozy fleece gets traded for swimwear (often still wet) and cold sunscreen lotion; warm sneakers exchanged for damp water booties and hats for plastic helmets. There are always two schools of thought here: keep your warm stuff on until you're the last one packing your dry bag OR just dive into your freezing raft wear early on and grin and bear it! I've always been in the "just get it over with" group but this morning I gave in and put my swimsuit on under my long pants; still less than the guys!!! Comments [ Post a Comment ]
