Lower Ridge Trail Slab

Seen from the top of Whale's Lip, just off the Ridge Trail. A hiker is visible on one of the slabs; that slab is the one that appears shortly after the Ridge Trail reaches Old Rag's summit ridge. The brushy area on the left is one way to reach the base of the crag.

I've not heard in manys the year-Old Rag Mountain. I'm thinking I went backpacking there in the early 70's. Forgot the name until I saw your photo. Thanks Bob, for waking up that memory!

	Hasn't voted	Thanks, Bill-- After years of avoiding the mountain because of the crowds, I've been rediscovering it over the past year and have more plans to go back and explore some of the off-trail crags. It truly is a great mountain after all.
