Double headed Stirovac... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Double headed Stirovac...
Double headed Stirovac (1569m) is first peak in the continental streak of Vaganski Vrh - Sveto Brdo group which contains highest peaks of Velebit. Stirovac is not even in top hundred on the list of highest peaks but it is very nice peak which adds to panorama of idyllic Struge (1400m) plateau (lower Struge below). On this shot Bura wind cap/cloud spills from Lika region over the edge of Velebit (area between Badanj and Stirovac peaks) on to Struge plateau. Bura wind cap usually covers whole top part of Velebit but this time it was light. Photo taken from Debelo Brdo (1602m), which is part of Viserujna (1632m). March 27th 2004.
