Winter's Chill Strikes The Stone Bell At Will [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Winter's Chill Strikes The Stone Bell At Will
A favorite among Sedona landmarks, Bell Rock receives a rare dusting of February snow.

The snow was melting fast, but it had covered several kilometers of cactus
plants in central Arizona.

Actually, now is a great time to visit Sedona. Temperatures during the day reach the lower 60s, and you don't need several gallons of water to keep yourself hydrated.

At elevations between 4,500' and 6,500' (1,400-2,000m), which includes the area surrounding Sedona, various species of alligator juniper and Utah juniper are predominant.

Hikers often encounter Parry's Agave, yuccas and prickly pear cacti in this
region as well.
