This view of Chimney Peak is from near where the south ridge connects to the main Lochsa/Selway Divide. The highest rocks in this view form the first and second chimney on the south ridge. The high point is behind and not visible. The route takes the ramp to the right of the rocks. Some of the yellow flower at the lower left are a rare species. August 2008
