those people aware of this fascinating landform? It would be interesting to conduct
a survey to find out how many people living inside those homes have actually ventured out

Hasn't voted | Believe me - they all know it. It's the regional landmark and people come from near and far just to look at it. And there are pubs and inns named after the formation. Also, have a look at the map here. It shows the village in the centre and the crags around it. Admittedly this one is the most spectacular one but most of the others are also standalone towers. One is located directly in the village centre.

Voted 9/10 | A great fabulous and fantastic rocky formation, this Teufelstisch ... I was there in this cold and sunny thursday : there was anyone thereover and I was alone. Great. But, the traffic is very noisy (what for a big pity ! ). Equally, in the same day, I was on the top of the nearby Handschuhkopf (level 2 of climb) : the site is almost unknown by the hikers, but a marked path brings you there and the site is very interesting to see and to photography, the forest of pines is very wild and the view from the summit is good, instructive ! Then, the Rappenfels (two climbing towers separated by a big chasm), was very picturesque too and very easy of access ! Finally, I was on the Wieselberg, which is a small rock, but a remarkable observatory : the panorama of the village of Hinterweidenthal, is very impressive, unwaited ! I was totally mad thereover. Just notice, that the Wieselberg is named and marked, known by the hikers, as Birkenblick (local name) ... And what can I say, with your Teufelstisch's article ? He's simply exceptionnal : I'm already waiting from new photos, about the rocks around Hinterweidenthal and Dahn, by Summitpost ... So please, dear Gangolf, can you create and edit new articles, as fast as possible and over new palatian rocks ? By me, I have a very exceptionnal collection of photos and I will contribute for you !
