Hi Katie,

Sailaway is truly a fun route. The hand jams are so solid your hand may get stuck in it like it happened to me once. But, I really think it was due to having new tape on my hand and some of the glue may have oozed out. Anyway, I still got my hand.
Thanks for dropping by Katie,
Marc

Was always one of my fav leads, solid jams, and very easy to protect.

You've been there, and you understand why I rave about it. Talking about solid jams reminds me of this one time when I had fresh tape on my hand. My hand got stuck in the crack half way up. It took several minutes to get it out.
Happy climbing, Dave.

If you like Sail Away, Another fav (if you havent already climbed it) is Mental Physics. 5.7+ not quite as steep but a great hand crack that also sucks up the pro. Check it out.

I thought you may have already done most everything there. Plan a long trip because you go to J-Tree you may not want to leave.
BTW, your DOWT TR is fantastic. Love the photos of both you and Shirley.
