Perhaps hard to see here; a good portion of the flow comes out from a crack a meter or more below the lip, making the section pasted to the final rock much smaller, tenuous and scary.

It's funny how water always finds a way
through cracks, and in a place like Joes Valley
freezes and magically forms these ice flows!!!
