"red sandstone pictures" completely away!
Dmitry & Joe really have this peak figured out, and I get dizzy just watching them.

Is there a specific reason why they choose
not to use a rope? This strikes me as being
a bit more than a Class III. - Awesome!!!

But your pictures are so much prettier and way more colorful! As to the rope, if you ignore the big picture and just focus on each step, it's not so bad.

Do I detect some humor there? Thanks -
not to argue, but the way sunlight shines on
snowflakes can be a real treasure!

I grew up in northern Utah. (Back in the 1970s,
when there was lots of snow.)

The noon shadows are just perfect, as are the curled cornice lips - thumbs up! (But I wish I had some brighter colorful layers LOL)

Bright colors have saved me from the depths of
depression many times, but its always great to
see folks having fun in the snow!

Sunshine is what saves me. December is my least favorite month.

I wish I had some brighter colorful layers too. But that day was so warm that most of the time layer was enough, and some people didn't even have that.

But aren't dawn and dusk the most inspiring kinds of the sunlight? And you get a lot more of both when the Sun is low for the winter :) !

I care more about warmth than inspiration :)
