great ! the lake is much smaller nowadays due to rocks falling from Gerlach massif and one day it will surely disappear...

You know that the pass above there played legendary Borgo pass where the trail to Dracula's castle led in famous Herzog's "Nosferatu" movie from 1979... incredible pictures and music.

Check this out!
Through Tatras to Dracula's castle

p.s.
I love one comment there where some guy claims the valley in the beginning is somewhere around Garmisch in Germany and he really enjoyed visiting it for... several times! :)))

Heh, seems like the real Borgo pass wasn't just wild enough for the movie :) Thanks for the comment, Tomek. More postcards will be coming sometime soon. ;)

Peter, what about real Borgo pass ? Have you been there or have you met any vampire creatures there ?

Shall we call it new media:) stuff now that Tomek's added the link? Great Central European stuff anyway. Our Czech friend can complete it with a 21st-century pic of the tarn and let's not forget it's all set in Slovakia:-)

Indeed. By the way, to make it even better, I added the Polish name as well ;)
