Driving by the valley of Gail/Zilja, west of Hermagor an interesting view on Hochwipfel opens. By the N-NE ridge a nice summer approach goes. Looking this picture one wonders if skiing would be possible all the time from the summit. If a part of the ridge is not too exposed, it certainly would be. February 28th, 2009.
