The Penguin [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Penguin
This is one of the coolest looking boulders I've ever seen - it's called "The Penguin". There are a number of climbs on this boulder including one that goes up the stomach and ends right on the beak. This boulder is located in Fairy Meadows in the Cirque of the Unclimbables. (photo: A. Jones)

Yea, it's a pretty cool boulder. It only looks this way from a certain angle.

For perspective, how high is "the Penguin"? Looks like it could be anywhere from 5 meters to 25 meters.

It's about 20 metres high. If you can find that video you sent me of Caldwell & Roden climbing in the Cirque, you can see some video of them climbing this feature.
