Was it down hill both ways? Looks as if it might have been a little "adventurous"....... Wish I were there.

It was adventurous and great fun. I'm not sure I know what you mean by "was it downhill both ways?"

Some rope traversing will be "downhill", or at a slight angle, making it easy to "slide down". This photo looks as if you were forced to slide "uphill" at some point making for a little extra work. Glad you had fun!

Now I gotcha. You're exactly right. We had to keep the guideline high and consequently somewhat level to clear the deep pool below the waterfall.
