| The Elves Didn’t Do It | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Although elves are more easily encountered near the North Pole, these rings in the tundra had been created by nature, which drives the thin ground layer overlying permafrost through countless freeze-thaw cycles.
:-) Quite surprisingly, I'm not the elf on the right. Frankly, I don't think I'm an elf at all. But surely elves are skilled shapeshifters. And nature's mysteries are inexplicable.

Voted 10/10 | the "desert dweller" understand what he's
looking at in this enigmatic photo.
What's the elf on the left doing? It looks as
though he's holding a shovel.
Is this another "underground" version of the
classic Beatles album "Abbey Road?"

Hasn't voted | To the viewer's surprise, this is the kingdom of the Sun, which – in summertime – kindly lets you draw circles in the tundra 24/7 so there are many more of them than in the theoretically sunnier areas.
Here's more info on the Patterns
More info on the left-wing elf's job down the endless scroll of comments on the Spitsbergen album.
Finally: HUGE CHEERS to the Sun King who - unlike so many fellow SP'ers - is gonna live to be 120 as he hasn't forgotten how to laugh!!!)))))))

are natural rhythms of the northern latitudes
clocked in an aura of mystery ???
They do resemble crunchy donuts! Can I have
some milk with my crunchy donut, please? :))

Hasn't voted | Sure, you can have your dessert, what's more - a glass of red wine/rum is also OK provided that you take a closer look at your desert home/neighbourhoods | | Posted Mar 18, 2009 12:33 pm |
