Hasn't voted | With no predators (i.e. bears, dogs) to keep the cougars away, they flourish. Similarly, deer are thriving without substantial predators in the area. | | Posted Mar 18, 2009 4:27 pm |

Voted 10/10 | It's the deer browse I was referring to -- the fern prairie is a bad sign but the two younger trees in your picture suggest that cougars must be back in town, reducing the deer activity a bit.
