No Nail Gothic [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
No Nail Gothic
The oldest wooden Gothic church in Poland - built without nails - in the village of Dębno, Podhale basin, between the Gorce Mts and the Tatras: first erected in 1335, its present shape dates back to C15. A UNESCO world heritage site.

From here, it takes an hour's stroll up the Białka river to get to the nature reserve of - did you hear, Larry? - my Little Red Rocks.

And, my apologies for missing that entire
album of fascinating photographs.

The fifteenth century? Wasn't that BACK in the medieval times, when the entire Polish Army had to take on the "Teutonic Knights and Mongol Horde" using their crossbows & swords?

That's an exciting piece of history, my friend !!! !! : )
