The sea of Glacier peaks: to the far R, sharply-pointed Kinnerly, then moving left, Kintla and Carter.

Voted 10/10 | It would be REALLY impressive if you could name ALL the peaks here!!!! (I certainly can't.) | | Posted Apr 5, 2009 10:52 am |

Hasn't voted | ha! I tried. Perhaps if I spend some more time with the map and the zoom button.
Do you have any other positive IDs I could add? | | Posted Apr 5, 2009 10:58 am |

Voted 10/10 | Far distance on the right are Kinnerly (dark pyramid) and Kintla (broad just L of Kinnerly). Those are the only two that I am sure of. | | Posted Apr 5, 2009 11:11 am |

Hasn't voted | Is that broad snow-covered hump to the L of Kintla Carter? It seems like it's in roughly the right position, but oddly close from this perspective. | | Posted Apr 5, 2009 11:17 am |

Voted 10/10 | My guess is that you're right on Carter. I'm thinking the peak to the right of Kinnerly is Chapman (possibly Custer, but probably not). Also, Vulture Peak should be visible in this shot—maybe the largest massif about half way between center and the left edge? | | Posted Apr 5, 2009 11:49 am |
