Hasn't voted | Actually, it's a morning light. But it works the same way. In the eastern Sierras the opposing mountains are much lower therefore the light has to travel through more of the atmosphere to hit the east facing mountains. You end up with much richer colors.

Voted 10/10 | Again! Only slight negative comment it looks like artefacts are creaping in to the ridge lines - too much sharpening? Just a question.
