Hasn't voted | I appreciate the compliment, especially from someone with such a sweet Gallery themselves. Thank you Sir. A sweet sweet day up there for sure. | | Posted Apr 14, 2009 9:26 am |

Voted 10/10 | Looking out of the window...seeing my garden. Spring. Everyone around me is soooo happy because the cold season is to an end. Sure it's nice around here in spring, but when I looked at your photo I knew exactly where I want to be; on long cold ridges in rough weather!
Soon...
Great atmosphere and photo. | | Posted Apr 14, 2009 10:14 am |

Hasn't voted | I appreciate the compliment man. Indeed, spring was here as well. Then, suddenly, we have had another glorious winter spell. Hope you're getting out, Janne. Your biking pages have helped me build a sweet touring bike. Thx. | | Posted Apr 14, 2009 1:52 pm |

Voted 10/10 | So this is the 'Cottonwood Ridge' that I
heard so much about? Question: "Wouldn't it
be 'so easy' to 'buy the farm' somewhere on this long & treacherous ridge ???
The cornices? Are they commonly formed on the
southern face of the ridge? This BEATS the
cactus blooms that I've been lookin' at in
the Phoenix area. Very cool ridge ... | | Posted Apr 14, 2009 10:30 pm |
 | | d_shorb | Re: Triple Word ! | |
Hasn't voted | Certainly a sweet ridge. and an easy place to BUY THE FARM. I've seen double cornices on this ridge, and the trend is from the north in cold fronts.
The desert is sweet though, too, Larry. | | Posted Apr 15, 2009 2:30 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I know - I had promised more photos of the
"Grand Piano."
I still can't believe how much snow remains
in the Wasatch. I'm headed up there to check
it ALL out... | | Posted Apr 15, 2009 4:02 pm |
| marauders | Nice! | |
Hasn't voted | A fine photo to represent the Wasatch. Was this from your directissimo trip on Monte Cristo? Congrats on Pic 'o the week. | | Posted Apr 19, 2009 3:24 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Nice photo! I've been wanting to do the ridge as a snow climb for a while now - this photo has renewed my interest! Now for someone who wants to rope up on it with me . . . | | Posted Apr 19, 2009 9:31 pm |
