Warning: Boring Route Information
The "White Gully" on the north face of Red Cap

On the north side of the peak, an unofficial trail leading from a wash crossing the Calico Tanks Trail passes by this gully. A Class 3 scramble up the gully takes you to a short pitch that some might call Class 4 and from there up onto the red summit area of the mountain, where there is still a little walking and a short Class 4 crack to go before you reach the summit, which happens to be the highest in the Calico Hills.
