Round Top [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Round Top
This lonely Proghorn Antelope wonders why we stopped to take its picture. Round Top is in the background. This is looking from the Pony Express road north.

would it be safe to say that ALL antelope
are considered to be "lonely?"

This bright-eyed animal was probably happy
to see the green grass coming up. Nice
capture of a lonely antelope, Dean !!! : ))

It was indeed a very lonely antelope. It was separated by a larger group of antelope that we couldn't get a good picture of so we figured that this antelope might have antelope "B.O.", a very serious condition and not well tolerated by the more "purist" antelope. You should know all that Larry.
You used to live near there.

I didn't live in the outback; I lived within
the city limits of Tooele.

Come to think of it, that was probably my
problem. Anyway, nice Pronghorn antelope !

Thank you Sir. I'm looking forward to seeing a red one, certainly there must be one out there in the outback somewhere. (or Home Depot paint might work) ; )

Nope; fresh out of paint! I guess my world will be coming to an end now? : ))

When I'm heading north on I-15, I'll PIN
my final hope on an "Eagles" CD, which may bring me back around to a time when red paint was considered to be out of fashion,
and completely impossible to use.

Ah, the Eagles. I have one of those CD's too, it is great stuff. Goes along with my Creedance CD. When I want to torture my wife I play Enya (she hates Enya but I love her sound). My wife would like to paint my Enya CD red.
