Good Night Mt. Superior [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Good Night Mt. Superior
A cloud says good night to Mount Superior. July 1, 2008. Timing for this picture was everything. We got chased off our ski run by a stressed out moose. When we got to the parking lot we thought the day was a total loss. Thats when we looked up at the sky and the "sunset of a lifetime" started up. For us it was just another beautiful moment in the Wasatch.

"You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know."   --Rene Daumal
