Gold Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Gold Mountain
A map showing Gold Mountain, the highest point in Kitsap County, in Washington State.

The west and north sides of the mountain are DNR (Department of Natural Resources) land. Most of that land has been heavily logged by a company called "Pope Resources".

The south and east sides of the mountain are mostly located on Bremerton Watershed land. The Bremerton Watershed is a "closed watershed", meaning no public trespassing allowed, much due to the watershed having no filtration plant.

The road leading to the summit (not shown on this map) skirts through both DNR and Bremerton Watershed land.
