I like to take pics of the summit benchmark with my GPS in the shot showing GPS summit waypoint. This model of GPS is giving the waypoint in both lat/long nad 27 and UTM. To find the exact highest spot on Gold Mountain, it is helpful to have the summit in your GPS as a waypoint coordinate. This peak is often foggy or rainy and this can be a huge aid in helping you locate it.
