Mountainside and Old Rail Tunnel [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mountainside and Old Rail Tunnel
From Lovell Wash-- the cave-like opening is actually an old rail tunnel used for transporting ore. You can walk through it and go out the other end, and you can even see the remnants of some of the ties.

Good thing you went before us-- Jack insisted on "watering" the tunnel when we were there!

(Sounds like a weiner ??)

Seriously Bob. When I return from my
vacation next week AND return to the "working" mode, I'll send you a PM regarding Anniversary Narrows (AN) as far as
history/lore and geologic information goes.

Please keep the "humor level" up, Bob!!! :)
