East Ridge from the Saddle
Between the saddle and the flat spot above the rocks, this route is much more difficult than it looks. The slope and nature of the rocks covered with slippery dust and gravel makes for very slow tough going. If I were here again I would drop to the goat trail on the left and get up the ridge above. The loose, sliding soil would have sucked, but it couldn't have been worse than the rock. August 2008
