This dead old thing near the summit of Tahquitz Rock (on the "backside") has seen many wonderful and heinous moments in climbers' and hikers' days. He's been adorned with prayer flags, carved into, camped under, swung on, leaned on, probably pissed on....I just love this old tree. I'll be sad to see him finally toppled over.
