Yes, Ejnar, you are right :)
I saw your beautiful pictures of the area too. Actually I could not persuade my Jasmina to ascend on some of the summits closer to the coast. Mont Vinaigre is too easy. I guess some of those above the coast would be much more rewarding. But we were of course totally unprepared.

The Pic du Cap Roux (453 m) is just a hike, but with very good views of most of the Estérel because of its height, especially of the St. Pilon, the most difficult peak in the Estérel. The Rocher de St. Barthélémy is only 203 m, but even by the easiest way (from the north) gives a nice little scramble/climbing tour with some exposure on the narrow summit ridge. The view down to the Corniche d'Or is vertiginous! Both peaks can be climbed from this road right alongside the sea.
