That's the new MH tent. How do you like it?

the tent is pretty awesome! i have used it in high winds and very cold temps on whitney, then in heavy snow dumps on whitney, and just these last few days in the palisades. very light and super easy to setup! single wall is good, strong, and ventilated. i would buy it again in a bleep. i owned the bibler i-tent but sold it because it just seemed too big and not very well ventilated. the MH tent has outside poles which makes it very fast for setup. before i realized it, my girlfriend patty set it up in our living room before i was even done reading the instructions. it IS small but that is a plus... less weight and small footprint , so it only needs a tiny campsite. this is the best single wall tent i have seen BTW...

thanks... i havent used the evtent in heavy rain, but in heavy snow with running water underneath... its holds up. on another whitney trip in STRONG winds (i mean, really-strong-winds-where-i-am-sleeping-with-everything-i've-got -against-the-windward-side-of-tent-because-i-think-its-gonna-fly-away kind of stong winds)... it held. whew! didnt know if it would, but it did. david

I am posting this message on behalf of my Sierra Designs Stretch Dome Expedition. He wanted to say that he is jealous of your new mt. hardwear tent in the snow and is now really mad at me that we didn't make our whitney trip this year because we had our first baby.
