Bighorn Peak. [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bighorn Peak.
This photo shows the west face and ridge of Bighorn Peak, sharing the ridge with Lone Peak. The ridge (seen left) with it's numerous gendarmes makes a great class 4 scramble, a portion of the route is actually located on the other side of the ridge due to the complexity of the granite rock. Photo taken just after making the summit of Bighorn Peak and traversing the ridge, en-route to Lone Peak. May 29th, 2009.

Thank you. If you're ever in SLC the Bighorn traverse is a fun one!
