Upper Southwest Slope [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Upper Southwest Slope
The light rock is granodirite and the darker is Hurwal Formation, which is a baked sedimentary rock of volcanic origin. With the irregular mix of loose soil, small scree and larger blocky rocks, footing is really bad here and one struggles not to slide back with each step. August 2008
