Nearing the top of the Hopeful Couloir on centennial 13er Mt Hope, Sawatch Range, CO. The small cornice to the right was easily avoided but can be problematic earlier in the spring. The slope angle here was 47 degrees, with the rest of the couloir averaging low 40's. Taken 6/6/09.
