Turning around, looking downhill, at the thick cloud cover (and whiteouts) that suddenly consumed the entire lower south side of Mount Hood. The cloud cover then lasted throughout the rest of the day, making the Timberline parking area, lodge, and most of the ski area indistinguishable. I was standing at approximately 8000' elevation when I took this photo.
