Geyser Hill - Lion Geyser [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Geyser Hill - Lion Geyser
Yellowstone NP - Geyser Hill - Beehive Geyser

Lion Geyser at Geyser Hill is magnificent. It was named for the roaring sound of steam releasing during an eruption. The water can reach 90 feet high and can last seven minutes. Lion is the largest of the Lion Group. Nearby cones are the dormant Big Cub and Lioness Geysers and the active Little Cub Geyser. Picture taken with disposable camera due to damp conditions that morning.
