Ancient Foxtail Pines [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Ancient Foxtail Pines
The Foxtail pines look very much like the Bristlecone pine and are very closely related. They are only 20 miles apart and are known to be able to crossbreed. There are some that have been measured to be over a thousand years old, and botanists think that they may reach three thousand.
