Tucannon River Drainage [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Tucannon River Drainage
Looking west from near the Hunter Spring trailhead down the Tucannon River drainage. Somewhere down in the canyon, just right of the nearby tree, is the Tucannon trailhead. You can walk down the Bear Creek Trail from here to the river and then the river trail west to that trailhead almost as quickly as you can drive the circuitous route to reach the trailhead. The Tucannon is a tributary of the Snake River. Directly across the canyon is the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness area.
