The skies parted and we had sunshine for all of about twenty seconds. You can see the summit cairn beyond the snowfield but this was frustrating to have such a remarkable sunny moment only to be engulfed in the fog & clouds again.
Mike was thinking that it was going to stay this way, just like I was hoping but it was not to be.
