Bird's eye view of the...
Bird's eye view of the climbing route taken in late August 2003. The hogback is very prominent and if you squint, you can see Mt. St. Helens in the background. Much easier to fly over than climb.

DeanGreat shot of Hood

Voted 10/10

I've flown by it in a commercial jet on the north side but flying over or around it in a small plane must be breathtaking. Nice shot. Keep posting them.

This shot really helps those who enjoy discussing exactly where the route goes. Thanks for posting, looking forward to more flight shots. A refreshing and needed perspective.
