Bluejohn Canyon. Someone from the SP just asked me what a "chockstone" was (as described on the Gem Canyon pages), so I posted a picture of one as a good example. Such chockstones can be used with slings and thus this avoids a necessity of using bolts. It is fairly easy to set up a retrievable sling on a chockstone such as this which leaves the canyon clean and un-marred by bolts. Mark McCray photo.
