..route starts at this sign which marks the ATV track known as the Indian Mill Trail. You can see Elkhorn Peak off in the distance and while there isn't a marked trail, you can find your way fairly easily by staying to the high ground on the ridgeline as it works up toward the peak. A use path often helps aid your direction finding.
