Eichorn, West Pillar Direct [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Eichorn, West Pillar Direct
Past the 5.10 pitch on the West Pillar Direct is a quick section of steep, perfect hands we just couldn't not do. Something like pitch 5 or so. Not exactly super exposed, and only about 15-20 feet long...it was still fun. This is easy to avoid by face climbing to the right of it...but it IS perfect hands so...

Nothing like squeezing some extra fun out of an already classic climb.

=)
