Mount Goodsir, Sharp Mtn, Helmet Falls From the South [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mount Goodsir, Sharp Mtn, Helmet Falls From the South
From the flanks of Limestons Peak you get an amazing view north to the Goodsir Towers (Left), Sharp Mountain (Right), and Helmet Falls (Bottom Center) in Kootenay and Yoho National Parks. The South Tower is visible here and is the higher summit at 3,567m (11,703ft) while the North Tower (just to the right of the South Tower) is a little bit shorter at 3,525m (11,565ft). Sharp Mountain, 3,049m (9,787ft), is home to the large Sharp Glacier whose melt-water combines with the Washmawapta Icefield's melt-water to feed the impressive Helmet Falls which drops 352m (1154ft) and is the second tallest waterfall in Canada.
