The Lions Head East Peak [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Lions Head East Peak
The East Peak of The Lions Head from the summit of the West Peak.

The saddle is bottom center. We traversed the low on the low angle slabs to the line of vegetation and talus low and left center on the photo and from there up easy talus, boulders, and dirt to the summit. Nothing harder than Class 3.

Laird shows the route going more directly up the west ridge in his guidebook. This would probably require at least some Class 4 climbing.
