Does anybody know what the hell these formations are? Man made, natural??? Anybody?? This is located just to the North of the summit, easily seen on Google Earth.

EDIT: I was informed on Panoramio that these are avalanche control mounds, dating back to the 1800's possibly.

only be the work of an alien race of beings
who's offspring wanted to visit Lake Tahoe?
